Here is some updated eye candy. We have come a long way and its getting much closer!
This is not the polished up version either but, I think it justifies the extra time its taking.
And here is what it looks like when you want to change one of the gauges, you scroll across the bottom and drag the one you want into the position you want it.

There is a lot of issues with trying to support Droid. First off there are lots of phones that use that operating system.
Second, you don't have to have an iPhone with this as you can also us an iTouch. So for those wishing to keep their phone, do not have an upgrade path or whatever can still use an iTouch.
At the end of the day even if you have to go buy a touch or phone its still going to be very reasonably priced.
Oh and I beg to differ with your AT&T rep. Apple has huge market share when you consider iphone and itouch. They just released huge numbers but, I would say the dominate the handhelds so far. With the ne 4gs they are really going to dominate.
Now, don't get me wrong, I love the Droid system and all but, the phones they run it on don't compare to the apple products.

Thats all blown way out of proportion.
They are just billing slightly differently and yes if you are a data hog over 36 or cellular it might cost you $5-$10 more per month than the unlimited guys but, it is not going to be that big of a deal.
Most of the data on these phones is sent over the wireless and is not going to be "counted" against your monthly allotment.
The reason they did this was that the phones were selling so fast they were not going (can't now) to be able to keep up with the data so it will make a few people think twice about what data they are using and if its necessary. This is in response to them knowing the 4gs release was right around the corner.
Also keep in mind AT&T is going to make EVERYONE have an upgrade available to the 4gs even if it is not time for an upgrade on your plan.
Lastly, I am not an Apple guy or a MAC guy or any of that. I probably have 10 phones I have played with that are all the latest greatest and at the end of the day none of them can touch the iphone/itouch for an app like this. Its not about who is better or worse at everything it is about what is best for this particular app and we picked the platform that is the most flexible, most reliable and overall best.
I would say Droid users wouldn't want their phone tied up all the time and there will be a lot of itouches in their trucks in place of the iphone. There is still nothing that touches the itouch for what it does and how its priced. Nothing even close.
