1996 Dodge Ram 2500 - Something Different

From Welding Truck To 600hp ShortbedDiesel enthusiasts are a die-hard bunch. If they want something, they'll figure out a way to make it happen. Devon Lock from Fort St. John, British Columbia, Canada, is no exception. He'd always liked the looks of regular cab shortbed pickups, but there was one problem—the manufacturers never built a diesel version. But no matter, Devon soon found a '96 Dodge 2500 that had been used as a welding truck and had 16 inches chopped out of the frame. He then went to the local wrecking yard and sourced a shortbed from an '01 Dodge.
