in the last few weeks i thought i would do a comparison on guages and how acurate they are so i took to very popular brands isspro and glowshift and put them to the test
out of the two
isspro-saw a more accurate reading in my pyro better hook up for the boost guage trans temp stayed the same
glowshift-on guage all colors easy to install and cheaper
but when my truck is involved i think a few more dollars is worth spending to get a more accurate reading
what guages do you run and how happy are you with them

I have Autometer Z-series EGT, Boost, Trans and I have an Isspro EV2 fuel pressure gauge. I have installed Isspro gauges on my cousin's truck and did the autometers on mine. I like them both. I bought Autometer because that is what I use in the drag car and never had a problem and had the same experience with the truck. Kenny from Ken's Performance talked me into trying an Isspro for the fuel pressure and I am VERY happy with it as well. I had some issues with it but Isspro and Kenny went WAY out of their way to fix it and I couldn;t be happier. I would be buying Isspro's if I was doing it all over again. That EV2 line is sweet by allowing you to daisy chain the wiring.

Hmmm this is a great thread i am in the market in the near future for gauges and was wondering the same thing on what everyone is running and the goods and bads of the variety of gauges out there so i will deff be following this thread thanks guys

I'm running autometer C2 electric gauges in my 97 and autometer NV electric gauges in my 07. Both sets are accurate and I haven't had a single problem with either set. And easy easy install

I have VDO boost and oil temperature gauges. Temperature is very accurate, but has a up to three minute delay.
sender unit is more expensive than the display but available in all threads and diameters.
Installation instructions come in all major languages and are very detailed ( including torque to apply to the sender unit)

Im running auto meter sport comp gauges, just two of these for oil pressure and water temp. Far more accurate then then the Speco ones I was previously running. Speco used to change via 10 degrees (celcius) when I would turn my lights on or off, and was very slow reacting.
Boost guauge is just a cheapie mechanical number from the local auto store atm. Autometer is pretty expensive over here, so ill look into a boost gauge from them later on.
EGT is a aurberins gauge that so far seems to be working pretty well, and has a bucket load of options to set high and low warnings, you can hook up warning lights or alarms to it, and it can be controlled via your dash lighting aswell to control the brightness of the gauge. For the price I find its pretty good and they have a fairly good reputation over here in Aus, dunno about over there with you guys.
The Aurberins EGT is on the bottom, rectangle shaped one.
