your better off selling it on your own. that way you can get more for it and your not getting screwed over by a dealer.

What I have learned, NEVER go to trade with anything aftermarket were they can see it. If the truck looks completely stock you have the advantage.

i don't believe it is. most dealers do things like this mobs. the stealership that i worked for had a real interesting method. they'd typically take a vehicle in for less than NADA trade in value then they'd put it on the lot for $3000-$5000 over book. and ya wonder why they only have about a 15% closing rate on their sales. and yes, i bought all my vehicles elsewhere because even as an employee i got a better deal somewhere else.

go HERE and run the numbers.

always know the trade in value of your vehicle

always know the book value of the vehicle you are attempting to buy. don't ever let them try and tell you they're selling it above book for any reason.

never tell them what you can afford to pay every month. tell them what you want in turn for your trade and what you are willing buy the vehicle for. that's it.

i have a friend at a dodge/chrysler dealer that i can put you in touch with if for some reason you want to drive up here. pm me if you want a phone number.

Yes the lights may have made em think that the truck had the crap run out of it. When I traded in my GMC 3500 they made the offer sight unseen and when I brought the truck in the next day and took my lights out of the dash they kinda hemmed and hawed about it. But were lost because all the paperwork had already been signed and I had the new truck in my possession.

Aint nobody spendin money right now on luxury items and these trucks for most are a luxury. Furniture stores, jewelry shops and so on are going out a business left and right. Then you compound this with the fact that new car dealers have made the payments on a new cars so low that it's hard for anybody to buy a used one anymore. You just have to excuse the fact that your payments are for 6 years on the new one and now in some cases 7 years.
