other than the dye, what's the diffrence between off road and regular diesel? (besides the price)

I'm just putting a tank & pump in back of my pickup to haul fuel for my tractor

 

The fine is very steep!!

Around here they check you if your at the sale barns or they set up fuel check road blocks.


The dye is to tell on you and one is road taxed & the other is not.

 

I allready voided my warrenty by doing the deletes so I won't be going to a dealer anymore, and I haven't heard of anyone being tested in my area. At .40 to .50 per gallon savings. I'm thinking if I use my head and be cool about it. It's worth the chance

 

That kinda of savings will add up pretty fast. It could cost form 500-1000's per gallon in the trucks tank , in the tank in the bed , if you have any at home and for the miles on the truck. Do a search on fines for running red diesel.
