no what if you were to route an air duct from the bumper to the air filter would that help with colder air

i dont think colder air would help for better flow...infact the air would be denser so in theory it would actually be less sufficient which is why if you are getting "cold air induction" the air is denser which means there is more of it to burn, right?? so if there is more air on a computer controlled engine then its going to adjust the ratio to inject more fuel to match the air better...so again in theory you would be lowering your fuel mileage...

thats what all the CAI companies claim, but i dont know...it would create more power but usually power and fuel mileage dont coincide together...but also alot of things with diesel engines are different i think the turbo has something to do with the effects of temp going into the engine

While your theory is correct, The slight decrease in flow you will see from the fluid(air) being thicker is more than offset by the increase in oxygen in the air. I doubt you could even measure the decrease in flow.

unfornuatly we got a new project manager and he messed everything up, so now were back to being changed to every 3 months, and now every unit in the disctrict (10.8 million square feet worth of building) have to be clean annually by 4 guys
