Default How much to rebuild a turbocharger?

If I were to buy a turbo off of eBay and it was to have side-to-side or end-to-end shaft play, how much would it cost to fix it?

I looked at doing this same thing aways back. Somebody on here sent me a link to a company that sold rebuild kits for most turbos out there for under $100 if I remember right. Pretty sure it was bow2no1, if he doesn't reply in here just drop him a PM. He's the master when it comes to ebay turbo's

The typical price for a kit is under $100?

How involved of a process is it? Would one need a press, anvil, special alignment tools or anything?

What's typically done, even? New raceways and bearings?
