Default It's A Sad, Sad Day.

Well the day finally came that i took the ol girl off my insurance policy. It's been sittin with no driveshafts for about 2 months now and i havent gotten off my *** to fix it because of the fuel prices. Even if i did get it up and running i can't afford to put fuel in it just for some joyridin or 4wheelin. Oh well. Fuel will drop one day and she'll hit the road again im sure.

She's gettin some well deserved rest after all the abuse over the years.

I would check out some other type of policy for her; a restorers or collectors policy. Some of them are very very cheap and in case mother nature decided to do some damage to her she is covered.

Farmers insurance. Depending on your company they allow anything under so many miles per year and far less money.

Might as well sell if your waiting for fuel prices to drop before you start driving it again. I mean really it will sit a year at least if we can get the gov on the drilling bandwagon today I bet. Might was well fine something you can afford to drive and have fun in like a 4bt Jeep. It sucks, but I would rather have something I can enjoy if I want to then have a pile of scrap that I can't afford to put fuel in.

You do have a bad *** truck I've always love ground hogs they will sling some **** until you have to back up.

woah woah woah it aint exactly a pile of crap that i can't afford to put fuel in. Just no sense on keepin it on the road right now while money's tight. Once i get back on feet i'll get it up and running again. Problem is, if i fix it now, im gonna want to drive it everywhere.

Plus i have this for a DD

Sorry to hear you have to take the beasty off the road. Sucks. I had the jeep on the road for a bit and had to do the same thing as it was cutting into my play time.

a side note.

only a true redneck has a ladder tree stand set up in his yard.
