Hey guys, ive had my 95 6.5td 4x4 2500 for about 2 years. It was given to me from a friend in a non running state. They say it just turned off like the key was turned going down the road. The service engine soon or wait to start light doesnt come on at all. It seems like it has a bad power/ground or the ecm is seeing a short or something it doesnt like and shutting down.

I have changed the PMD, ECM, GPR, checked my ignition switch, fuses, new fully charged batteries, checked for powers/grounds/GPR signal at the ECM, cleaned a whole pile of grounds (both on back of intake too), changed a few connectors, tried adding grounds with a jumper cable etc.

The members on here have been more than helpful but to no avail I wouldnt be surprised if I skipped over something. I have a history in gas turbo cars and tuning, but I really dont know much about diesels and electrical diagnosis. I have learned a lot though.
Ive put in a lot of time fumbling around with the multimeter and wiring diagrams and am getting better by the day. I have not thrown too many parts at it or changed many variables.

I could really use some help here. Winter is fast approaching and I really need my truck for firewood/truck things.
