Default Truck is almost paid off....so of course wife wants newer and shinier....Dodge/Ford

Ahhhh Man. ANOTHER "Should I buy a Dodge of Ford" Thread.

Heres my deal....I have been a Ford guy forever. Have had a a few 7.3l. 96. 99. '01. And....Another '99 F250/F250 over the years. 4 years ago We bought an '04 6.0l F250. To be honest...we have not done anything to it, and its been a decent truck. Wife wants to move up a few years. Still not looking at brand new.

Budget is 20-25k

She uses it as daily driver, and also pulls a 4 horse trailer probably once a week for an hour or so each way. Its 50 miles to pick up daughter from school (round trip) so she puts on more than some people in miles....but nothing crazy....still enough It would be nice to get better mpgs than we do.

To be completely honest...were NOT the best at PM like we should be.

Wife likes creature comforts...except for leather seats.

This is HER truck. Not mine....but I am worried about all the emissions crap these days.

We have both always thought the Dodge had the best mpgs...now it seems that is not true anymore? Also, who has the nicest interior? At the end of the day, I probably will be happy either way since we are moving up a few years worth of technology and refinement...but would like some outside opinions.
