93 ford 7.3 idi with 97000 miles just put the motor in this truck a month before ran good till it started knocking motor sat for year if not longer I do have a video but not sure how to add it to thi

Many things can cause a knock, rod bearings,broken pistons,fuel timing.
Any smoke or raw fuel smell in the exhaust?

I don't smell raw fuel. I know sometime times it will smoke a little but not very often.

 

not sure what is causing this or how to test it to figure out what it is

 

I don't smell raw fuel I do know it will some when it gets cold out but I think that is normal.
It started on the highway that I was on my way to a winch out I was going 70 MPh at 3 thousand rpm was kinda high when I got to the sean with the motor idling I could here the nock. And it has been for the last 3 months
