I agree with the video, had a mercedes 616 i ran off of almost entirely gasoline it just didnt start well (long story, but it was on purpose). On the flip side when i diesel swapped my s10 i had a few gallons of gasoline in the tank, dumped 5 gallons of diesel in and it ran so-so. but the lift pump stopped lifting after 2-3 weeks and had to be swapped. In its defense it was probably installed in my 1 ton in 1993, then swapped to my s10 in 2015, and killed by me and my laziness shortly there after. Old mercedes diesel manuals advise owners to put a small amount of gasoline in their diesel tanks at extreme low temperatures to prevent jelling, it works. I do it with my 6.5's without any fuss (in very small amounts 1 gallon per tank or so below 0* F).
