Default The $200 Fill

WTF, yes I said it. WTF...

I am about to set the all time highest price for a single fill on the 135L tank (stock tank) in my truck.

Diesel is $1.379 to $1.419 around here and that is getting ever so close to the $200 fill... Anyone want to buy a nice gentle used Cummins - I think I will have to walk to the job site or work from home.

On a side note, does anyone know how to renegoiate on a signed contract over the cost of fuel? I'm not looking for a raise per say but when I am spending close to $500 a month on fuel it is getting a little out of control. I am only commuting 20km one way each day... I thought diesel was cheap...

I think I need a drink, at least that is only $25 a dozen...

The two strongest lobby groups in the country, they carry more clout then any other industry in this country, The Teamsters Union and the Farmers Union. When are they finally gonna stomp their foot and tell the world this stuff is over and get a handle on fuel prices. With everything we export they could have a direct effect on the worl economy.

I need to figure out how to add a fuel surcharge to my mileage of my truck? Really it probably won't happen but if it did what is reasonable, 3%, or 50% like the government would say?

It's up again another 2 cents a litre - $1.449 now. Regular unleaded is only $1.329 - I feel robbed.

I must be lucky, live on property next to my shop, can walk to work in less than 30 sec.

Recent Email I Received:

As you may have heard, each of us will be getting a tax rebate check to
stimulate the economy.
If we spend that money at Wal-Mart, all the money will go to China . If we
spend it on gasoline it will go to the Arabs. If we purchase a computer it
will go to India . If we purchase fruits and vegetables it will go to Mexico,
Honduras and Guatemala . If we purchase a good car it will go to Japan .
If we purchase useless stuff it will go to Taiwan and none of it will help
the American economy.
We need to keep that money here in America . The only way to keep that money
here at home is to spend it on beer, since those are the only
businesses still in the US !
