How Bad will it Have.....
too get before you guys and gals will get rid of your trucks??? I've seriously thought about it several times with diesel sky rocking through the roof! I paid $4.89 a gallon this morning!
Everytime I think about it and start weighing the pros and cons, it ends up being a better idea to just hang on. If I go with a gasser I'll save at the pump, but, the mileage I'll loose, it ends up being a warsh! Then if/when I tow, it really starts to get expensive with the drop in mileage.
How do you guys & gals feel?

I have driven my truck less then 1,000 miles in the past 2 months. Compare that to 20,000 since I bought it in May 07. I pulled my trailer for 50 miles round trip last week loaded and was getting 8 MPG. We are going to the lake this weekend and I dread filling the truck and the boat up for just one day on the water.
I guess you can say that I stopped driving it already, but premium unleaded is now at $4.09, but I am getting 24 MPG.

Can't stop driving it, gets me to the shop and back everyday. But I have stopped pulling the trailer. We are driving the Suburban more on the weekends, it gets about the same mileage and at about $.90 a gallon less, it feels a little better on the wallet.
Too bad a person couldn't drive a flex-fueled vehicle for 30 days and find out for sure if the mileage is as crappy as everyone says it is. I'd like to get rid of the Dodge, but I owe too much to trade it off.

I've noticed some stations stop @ $50.00, some @ $75.00 and some @ $100.00.
