I have a 1997 dodge 5.9 i replaced the fuel pump on side of block but still cannot get fuel to injectors how would i know if the injector pump was bad sorry for such a dumb question 1 deisel i bought good engine 1st time had any problems

 

do you have fuel supply at the P7100 pump?
The injection pump is pretty bulletproof.
just crack all the lines at the pump or the injectors and cycle the key a few times to get the lift pump running you should be able to feel it clicking. If not check your Fuel pump relay.

 

iF THAT IS THE PUMP FOR INJECTORS NO I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO GET FUEL TO PUMP PRIMED IT ABOUT 100 TIMES

 

yes that is the mechanical high pressure pump.
Here is some diagnostic files.
First can you have someone cycle the key and feel with your hand wether the lift pump is running.
Do you have fuel at the lift pump? I other words is it pulling fuel from the tank?
