oooh ok cool, however dan, would the hesitations im feeling my truck be the cause of a dirty fuel filter? It kinda feels like someone is momentarily shutting off a cylinder

UM...for the pump (OR filter for that matter) to be causing that....it would dang near have to cut off all fuel flow for the truck to have that much of a hiccup. SO im not betting on a dirty filter to be honest....plus your fuel pressure would be zero under load if that was the case.

UM…..have you pulled codes yet?

Looking to install a Fuel Pressure Gauge on my truck real soon. What should the pressure gauge normally read when everything is operating properly and what could it read when one of the pumps and/or filter is heading south?
