Default 6.0 Help

Hey guys I just purchased my 2006 f-250 with 165000 miles and I drove it home from Texas to Louisiana 550 miles. The truck has nice power no smoking white or black but on the way home when I would stop for a break I would smell burnt oil. I made it home and the next morning I checked under the hood and noticed everything wet on the drivers side under the coolant tank. So I opened the cap and noticed oil in the tank so I did some research and its probably the oil cooler. So today I tore it down and I must have caught it early because it seems to only be in the tank and not much in the radiator.

So my question is what is the best cooler to put in and should I do the egr delete if so I would need a programmer to get rid of the dtc code so I'm clueless on which one would work. I sure the motor is stock so not looking to screw it up so which way would be the best route.

Thanks Eddie.

Factory oem replacement cooler the aftermarket are nice but pricey and more places to leak , egr delete a must, sct if its a 2006, and a coolant filter wouldn't be a bad idea. I've had several,6.0 great truck once you do the basics leave the power levels relatively low unless you want to do headstuds. I had a late 2004 110k headgasket failure previous owner went to ford so stock head bolts but did the deletes I bought it at 170k did the coolant filter tuner and I towed a 48ft gooseneck with a combined gvw of 24-26k never missed a lick But I kept the tunes conservative. .the truck had near 280k when I sold it. Oil changes are the most important thing on these

Well I decided to go with the ford cooler, welded up the egr cooler for the delete, SCT tuner, and the Sinister coolant filter setup. I seems the oil in the coolant was not that bad so what would be the best method of cleaning the coolant system out.
