According to the Diesel Technology Forum, public transit agencies are upgrading to clean diesel technology faster than the national average for large vehicles.According to the Diesel Technology Forum (DTF), public transit agencies are upgrading to clean diesel technology faster than the national average for large vehicles. Ezra Finkin, director of policy for DTF, explained that 44 percent of the nation’s transit vehicles meet or exceed the first Environmental Protection Agency clean diesel standard, while 33 percent of the U.S. truck fleet meets that standard.
