I was wondering if building a reliable 5.7 olds diesel is possible?? Head studs and i wanted to throw a turbo and upgrade the fuel system but i didnt know if it would be a smart idea at all any help or advice would be great!!! The motors free but the head gaskets went bad!

And thats what I've heard but the ones in the 80's were supposed to be better....i don't know by any means haha i also heard they didn't let the block or internals cure so after a few heat cycles they got misaligned or something like that i was just curious if a motor from the 80's would be build-able because you never see them

 

With enough money anything is possible.
