The only difference between the Cummins CP3 and the DMAX CP3 is the flow port on the metering valve. The DMAX port is rectangular and the Cummins port is triangular.

So, the Dmax CP3 will potentially flow more?

Thanks guys ; so I guess I need to make the deal on the pump , I have been thinking of going dual cp3 any way. One other thing I have alot of experince with hydrolics ,,,High pressure,, why can't we hook a gauge in the discharge port of the pump to check it ? seems logical to me , just my two cents worth

In theory yes, but we need an expert CP3 builder to verify that. The shape of the port is designed more for low flow rate metering. At WOT they should be about the same.
