Our goal was simple: rescue one of the last remaining factory turbodiesel Ford Rangers from a field in Kansas, and relocate it to sunny southern California. We had already faced exhaustion, thunderstorms, and mechanical breakdowns, but the journey was going to continue, rain or shine.
