First Gen show truck Twins step by step?
Hey guys, im here from ontario and its almost season for me to put my truck away( i know weird puting away the 4x4 12V in the winter) but shes got no rust and i plan to keep it that way.
i got myself a 1990 dodge w250 5 speed non intercooled, and its pretty plain jane besides the fuel pin and governor spring.
ive cleaned up under the hood and painted taken it to one show. but i wanted to do something different. i eventually want to run twin turbo set up.
Please tell me if you see or have any suggestions for my plan (wish i could post pictures but it tends to be a bit of a bitch...
it is very pricey so i plan on doing it in increments
1 Before puting away this season i wanted to run a intercooler kit to my stock turbo (CX racing has a bolt on kit ( dont want to smack and bend pieces to jerry my own intercooler off a 2nd gen)
2. when winter passes i want to throw on the first turbo (cant use stock to my understanding to run twins) and the pipes to connect the new one to intercooler
OR would that be a waste, and i should just buy both turbos in the kit along with the piping all at once
thanks for your time, opinions appreciated
p.s im running pyro and boost guages. i got all the fixings, and i know the consequences of running twins before puting them on.
