So when the U.S. government put a call out for a new vehicle design for its Special Forces teams, Northrop Grumman (best known for building fighter jets) joined with BAE Systems and Pratt & Miller to build the Medium Assault Vehicle-Light, or simply the MAV-L. The defense systems expertise of BAE Systems, along with Pratt & Miller’s racing and motorsports experience, shows through in almost every aspect of this new fighting machine.
