Default What I Have Been Up To

Well for the last 3 months I have been out in California for school. It has been ok but the last few weeks have been the most interesting for me. I snapped a few progress pics but wasnt able to get a dyno video. Here are some pics of the engine we completley tore down and rebuilt. A Cummins VTA-T903.

One thing is for sure the military takes the fun out of everything. I wanted to run the overhead a little tighter and mess with the pump but they wouldnt let me. We did take top HP/TQ at 538/1010 though.

Cool news I heard today, but I will never see it. I guess they are planning on a new 800hp version of this engine. But we wont get it we will stick with our 525hp engines.

This one goes in an AAV, amphibious assault vehicle for the Marine Corps. The new 800hp one is for the Army bradley's from what I hear.

That pipe that was on in the last pic doesnt actually belong. I had it pointed up but it got in the way of the crane and put way too much smoke and heat on me .
