So I have to share this with you guys. We were getting everything loaded up to go to the track today and I noticed I needed gas for the pit bike so I asked Bailey (my stepdaughter) if she wanted to go with, of course she wasn't gonna pass up the opportunity to ride in Big Dirty. We pull into the gas station and both get out, I grab the fuel jug out of the bed and swipe my card, take the cap off and pick up the 91 octane nozzle, she comes running over "No No NO! That's mommy's pump" Takes it out of my hand, puts it back, grabs the diesel handle and walks back over toward me "Don't you member? This truck is a deeeeeesuull" I couldn't help but smile and wipe the tear from my eye, makes me so proud! Needless to say I wasn't going to argue with her so I put the diesel nozzle in the tank but didn't turn it on since I still had almost a full tank, and went on the other side to fill the fuel jug with a huge grin on my face for the rest of the day. Kids say the darnest things but mine just make my week.

 

congrats man, pass on the tradition. i can't wait for my daughter to be old enough to take my truck and i'll get a new one
