and i just noticed your valve covers. looks great! i plan on doing mine red/black cause ill be blacking the truck out more than likely. dont like chrome with red never have. looks good with any color than red in my opinion... im the one torturing myself.. i cant wait to go test it tomorrow. i know i wont be able to wait until friday to go get it

 

yea red and black a good combo, I had a red dakota and thats what i did, I almost went with the black with this truck but when I broke out the chrome polish on the wheels I really liked the way it looks, I dont mind workin on my own rig, saves me money for the fun stuff just sucks at first because of denial . When I test drove my truck I knew she was mine I was the first guy to talk to the owner and the only guy and he held onto it till I could get finacing.. So i feel the pain!!

 

yea i like red and black too. your truck looks great with chrome on it! i like that color blue just hard to find. ideally i wanted a silver dually long bed ext cab 2nd gen.. who knows maybe some day ill find extra cash and can convert this one.

i want to go right now to find the truck. im gonna sleep all day so i dont have to be awake. i cant take this torture!

 

But take your time checkin it out, dont rush... Remeber Check for oil leaks, Front End, Blow By, and run the truck like you would every day, if he rides with you let him know when your gonna gun it. I did with my truck so I could see how the tranny acted... And next summer Im gonna repaint it, get rid of some of the chips and the key scratch, luckily I have friends that have patience for preping and painting and have the tools and experince. But if you gotta question gimme a call, try avoid texting me I get a lil peeved rather have a call takes less time... Unless that all you can do . Im not a dually fan I like to hunt and dually get stuck on flat ground.... But silver a good color. I like my color combo not many people have it around here of course were the size of rohdes islands with the population of 15 thousand...

thatll look nice what color you repainting it? what should i check in the front end? im not really familiar with all the components. i havent had those problems on the 6.0h god


no problem. i hate texting anyways. im not a normal teenager .. cant stand to text because people get all pissy when i dont reply within 45 seconds.. and my dumbass bought an iPhone so they can see right when i read it or whatever the hell.. i try to not reply to texts unless important

 

When I repaint it itll stay the same color I dont want to have the strip the whole truck If im gonna do something Im gonna do it right.. As for the front end just look at the ball joints and the rubber boots see if they are cracked or worn, and grab the tie rods and track bar and pull them from side to side and while your "Checking the front end" Look for the 53 on the block. Then when you drive it see how much play in the steering wheel if it feels loose you gonna need ball joints or tie rods, and if there alot of play a new steering box, but doubt you have to much trouble. Then I would go to you drive shaft and tug in it at the ends and listen for clunking from the U joints.. and look for any leaks. Id tell him you just wanna make sure its not a 53 Block, hes selling the truck and your spending the 14K so you gonna be damn sure ... Im not any normal teenager either Im only 20... I own a Casio Bolder Flip Phone and Ill keep it till I run it over and break it, so far its survived being ran over four times from my truck, another cummins, a tractor and falling off a roof and dropping a sledge on it...

 

ok ill check all that. i have a list a mile long haha. my ford has very loose steering (i can turn an inch either direction and not move from a straight line) so if it drives anything like that its not good? haha. all f250s ive ever been in drive like crap..

yea my phone has survived quite a bit. i have a case on it though one of those tough cases

 

Yea if your steering like that knock a grand off the price.. But if you got any questions gimme a call.... Let her warm up for a couple of minutes...
