Default Who has pulled cabs on 6.4 Trucks?

Wondering whos been pulling cabs on the 6.4's? Got two apart right now and the cab bolts suck, any body else ran into this? They go back together fine but comming apart cost me two 1/2 inch ratchets. Impact guns either spin them or wont break them loose. I had to take them loose with ratchets ended up using a 3/4 to get them loose.

I've heard of this on a few forums. Hit them with some heat first, I think they were using some sort of a loc-tite on them. Not the first I've heard. They either come right out, or are a major PITA. Only on the 6.4's for some reason, 6.0's aren't like this.

yeah they suck and I ford has a little stupid heat tool thats sposed to melt the loctite out. Just was wondering if theres a easier way. deff. dont wana buy the tool and really dont wana put a torch inside the truck. Ill take a 6.0 cab pull anyday over these things. The engine part is gravy but I wish they had left the cab bolts alone, I dont mind pulling up seats and carpets in the 6.0s. If they had stuck with the cab bolting down from the inside 6.4s would be easy. Between both trucks only 2 bolts came out like they were supposed to.
