pyro gauge stuck at 600???
worked fine, just installed these the other week.sent my driver on a 1200mile run, he said they worked perfect the whole trip until he got home and went to let it cool down and it wouldn't drop below 600. the hot and ground wires are tied into the tranny temp gauge and it appears to be working fine...any way to test the actual gauge, like hook the ground and hot directly up to the battery or is this not a good idea??? the gauge is an auto meter and it is an electric gauge.

ok, reran the ground and hots just to make sure. i tested the ground and hot right at the plug for the gauge and it works there but the gauge is still stuck on 600. anyone ever have this issure before? the guy i bought it from said to make sure its the gauge, and he'd replace it. just want to make sure i'm not overlooking anything!!!
