Default front end problem!!!!

i have a major issue with my front end i was driving down the road at around 40-45 mph and out of nowhere the front driverside wheel started hopping or bouncing really bad to the point itwas all i could do to hang on to the steering wheel to get pulled off the road and stopped i got underneath and looked and couldnt find anything broke or out of place i just changed the right inner tie rod about a month prior and all brakes rotors up front are new along with the ball joints. it has done this to me 4 times now and i am scared to drive the truck because it bounces violently out of control has anybody had this issue or know what the cause could be??? it does have a steering dampner on it also.

check your brake caliper, could be its not releasing properly and grabbing on the rotor. I assume you've already balanced your tires and ensured you don't have a flat spot, say from locking up the brakes at a good speed and sliding a flat spot in the tire.

Tell one of your friends to let you borrow his rims & tires & see if your truck runs better with different tires

you could have broken a belt in a tire, kinda makes it egg shaped. I've had it happen twice to me, and once to my buddy. do you notice it at all speeds now or just 40mph +

well i figured out the problem! tire has a broken belt it was hard to see on the tire being its a bias ply. i had to jack the truck up and spin it. i did it once before and didnt notice it but this time i did.

well once again i was wrong put a different tire and rim on and it still does it checked everything today made sure all was tight in the front end and nothing was loose it has a 2yr old 4 inch lift no broken springs no cracks or brakes in the frame like i said before the front end is practically new ball joints tierods wheel bearings brakes rotors brake lines calipers. i am out of ideas and everyone i talk to cant figure it out. any ideas would be great

another idea could be: HUB

I just had an issue where I thought I had a bad bearing or a sticky caliper but once I started to pull the front end apart I found that my Mile Marker hub on the passenger side had sheared the snap ring on the inner sleeve, that moved and cause the axle splines to hub splines to go in and out of engagement, my situation caused a very forceful and dangerous jerking of the wheel as the hub went in and out of engagement. It was jerking lightly at first, like a good Ford it was warning me it was about to go all FUBAR on me, I figured I would look at it tomorrow, then I'll look at it tonight, then while heading home at about 50 MPH it ripped the wheel out of my hands as it took a hard right, good thing I was in the right lane or someone would of bought the farm. Once I got her whoa'd and I checked my pants I looked it all over, I yanked on the tie rods, checked everything I could think of, NOTHING. So I limped it to my barn at about 20-30 while I tried to keep it between the lines and that was when I found it, also I needed to grease all the grease fittings (most took 3+ full pumps, that I would say is low).
