Just did head gaskets, studs, egr delete, and new injectors. I had a harder time than normal starting after this type of repair. I have my own truck repair business and have NEVER seen this before. I have asked several trusted mechanic friends as well and we are all stumped!!!!???? once running truck runs fine but will not restart unless you let the fuel pump run its cycle when you turn on the key. Pump turns off and it starts right up thinking a check valve, but where? any help would be useful.

 

how long has this been going on?? maybe it hasn't gotten rid of the air yet.

 

drove for 20 miles twice. problem only occured upon completion of repair. can duplicate problem every time. only repair ever done to engine since new.
