Need your help to get 1200HP and 2000lbs ft torque

Well it's been a rough year this year, i've got lots of 10 sec passes in this year. however the last two evens i've had carnage. melted pistons, this last time i broke a piston in half. it's always on the back two cylinders. I've come to finally give in and try some of these pricey parts a try. goin with the stage two cam, 40 over pistons, and there wammy heads with the bigger valves.
Theres been a long time rivalry between Tadd and I, he still hasn't beat me on the track. but it looks like he wins:doh: cause i'm at the limits with the stock parts, i'm floating valves now.
oh heres the new turbo going on the truck too:evilAttachment 13952

ONE truck is at 1200 hp on gobs of nitrous, so, that means anybody with a big checkbook can get there? I think not.

Obviously you're correct. But Shawn JUST started touching 1200hp. Do you think he's going to go straight out and run low 10's? It's possible, but when I posted what I said, I said the technology isn't there yet. We'll see how Shawn does won't we? I don't know why everyone is so damn argumentative here.

I am curious to see what Deranged is going to put down for numbers. The FCDP ranger is making some damn impressive runs and that's more or less a stock 6.0 wedged in there. Deranged should be cutting some serious times once it gets on the track and Tim gets some good seat time in (if he runs it).
Also reading further into it, Shawn said the truck is completely reliable (if there is such a thing in a 1000hp truck) with only running the first two stages of nitrous. Both times he's had issues with the pistons were as soon as he hit the third stage...

Wasn't aiming at you. I know you're on the same forums I am, and we see the same stuff. I was merely trying to point out that it is possible. There really aren't any fast Fords that are running without gobs of nitrous. Though this guy may just be blowing smoke up all of our backsides, telling him to buy a $48,000 duramax motor isn't the answer either.
Regardless of how this guy goes about getting gobs of power, I suspect no matter how he gets it he'll be facing reliability issues and frequent part replacement. It will definitely be an expensive cycle

Don't take my post so seriously- I just happened to see a 1200hp crate diesel engine for sale and thought I'd post it, and it just happened to be a Duramax. That's the first I've seen.
