ford question?
does ford use generations to describe the different body styles like dodge has the 88-93 first gen, 94-02 second gen 03-10 third gen and the current fourth gen? just wonding what the 92-96 f350 would be considered as
I always called the 94.5-97 first gens, 99-03.5 2nd gens, 03.5-07 third, 08-10 4th, and now I guess the 11+ 5th gens. Wow, that ain't going to help in a Ford/Chevy/Dodge argument is it? haha
oh yes...
the f-series generation you're thinking of is 9th gen which ran from '92 to '97
this gen was where I like to think the awesome 7.3L flourished the most
(one of the then 7.3Ls was a DI Powerstroke and put out around 520 ft-lbs stock)
-they actually can be distinguished pretty easy seeing as earlier 8th gen f series had more of a "flatter" front end/grill
