Default DPF and MPG

I recently got a 6.4psd and i am getting 13-14mpg. Is there anything I can do to get better mileage without dpf delete? How can I tell and how often does the regen cycle? Will an aftermarket intake make a difference with my turbo lag?

remove the dpf and get a spartan tuner or something similar. There are a few guys on here that say with similar setups as what I told you to do get in the high teens and there is one guy on here that claims like low-mid 20s like 23 or so.

if you havent done so. Take it to the dealer there was a recall for the display. Owners wanted to know when the truck was going to regen so they updated the display system. Also run it at hwy speeds 75 mph as often as possible that seem to reduce the regen periods. I too went back to a 07 F350 DRW for mileage and DPF. The main reason is I tow a 40ft Raptor and whiletowing regen is no fun, 5MPG plus fuel consumption But I must admit the power was nice...looked at the 11 62K but would love to drive one

Thanks 1SG . I will call the local dealer about that. Cant wait for warranty to be up on the motor so I can delete the dpf. From what I hear that really makes a difference. This week I will be putting a cold air intake and hopefuly soon I will be getting a tuner for it . Ford really dropped the ball with the design on this one .
