powder coating rims
i just got a price for powdercoating my rims w/ a matte black for $60 per tire, i feel like switching it up without spending a bunch more on new rims

The only problem i see is that the cover for the lug nutz seems to be plastic (on the inside is see the code 'pc+ABS') so the ABS is plastic, not sure what the 'pc' stands for
was wondering if anyone has ever powdercoated their rims and/or how to get around the center cap issue....i guess i could spraypaint them, but i would rather not
would appreciate any feedback

make sure and remove the powder coat from the mating surface between teh rim and hub.. If not the brake heat will melt the powdercoat and the rim will be glued to the hub and extremely difficult to get off in the future..
