Technically it is. Gotta love the great state of CA and they're ability to stick to a budget. They're looking for any kind of revenue and as of 1-1 we are required to smog our diesels.

Actually it started January 1st for Registrations due April and later.

Lucky me, mine is due March 31st... So I get an extra year! and I know that is true because my renewal notice does NOT say I have to smog my truck. Definately lucky, because A-1 up here has admittedly been failing them like crazy!

Well looks like we will have this thing at the track next week and then will be searching for a new time in Phoenix! I'll post videos!
