what are some of the ways that you can tell if a truck is a 99 or a 99.5.

hp rating and i think the turbo was a bit small and injectors

the badge went from the front fender to the door too.

The badge is a good quick indicator, but its one of the first things most people change.

Guaranteed sure fire way... Pop the hood, look and the turbo Y pipe and if it has an Intake Air Heater then its a late 99... If not, its a early 99.

Blue arrow in the picture... That is where the IAH goes, in this picture it has been deleted, but if that port is there, its a late 99.
