Default Whistle

i have a 2001 7.3l with a 4in straight pipe and a banks quick spool fin. i was wondering if there is any way to get some more whistle out of it?

Well... What do you want to spend???

AFE stage 2 intake will give you some more noise... As will a 1.00 exhaust housing.

You can also delete the insulation on the drivers side IC pipe. It was added in late 99 for the simple reason as to limit the noise from the turbo.

my buddy has a housing on his turbo from ats and that thing screams when he romps on it

ATS Compressor housing is a good upgrade, just WAY too expensive.

My buddy got a lot more whistle on his 7.3 with some type of muffler....it has like fan blades in it so whenever you start pressin the gas pedal the exhaust fumes go through that muffler creating that whistle sound. It whistle's like crazy!!! Sounds like a jet!
