I’m about to buy a kit to delete my truck, and from what I understand the ECU needs to be reprogrammed along with a tuner afterward. I know the cost of having this done privately can be high, but I’ve seen some Ford 6.7 Powerstroke delete kits advertised with the programs already built in.
Am I missing something here, or is the programmer alone enough? Do you still need someone to go in with a laptop to set things up, or will the kit handle it all?
