haha yeah this is my first ford and first diesel, so i dont have a clue whats goin on under the hood with that thing

 

my brain is fried with CTD info , i see 99 PSD and i think 53 block , i want to learn more about them

 

i have done the 10K mod on 2 Powerstrokes tho

 

ive looked under the hood of a 6.4

 

whats the 10K mod?

 

10 resistor, its a cheap way to gain about 20 hp... go to radio shack and get a pack of 10k resistors, take one and soder a wire to each end, then you plug it into the ICP sensor under the hood... I'll dig up a good write up on it...

hmmm that looks pretty easy

 

i use telephone wire , pull 2 wires out and skin about and inch off both ends conect the wires to the resistor and put the ends in the ICP , one in the right eye and 1 in the mouth (it looks like a face) then plug it back in .

if you dont have a boost fooler and your CEL comes on dont sweat it its just an over boost code

 

i think im gonna be sure to get all the guages i need before i mess with that.
