Do you cut your rotors when you install new pads
I've ask people this question & they tell me, You must cut the rotors every time you install new pads, others tell me not to cut the rotors, cause they will warp & weaken. Since my front brakes have cross drilled & slotted rotors, they never get cut, but my rear rotors are stock, and they get cut.
Cutting rotors is out of style now if rotors aren't warped or grooved or have a big lip use em if they do replace rotor don't turn it when u turn it u lose metal and lose heat dissapation and they wear faster new ones are cheap buy new
I come from a fleet background and that suggestion is exactly what we follow.
