Default 2003 6.0 HELP

Hopefully you guys can help...Ive done some snooping around and believe my icp is shot.(i think)...anywho, heres my story...
On tuesday I left work, and headed to the bank. The truck ran perfect! I come out of the bank and truck would crank, but not even think about starting. So i sat there and did some googling and thats how I came up with the icp. So i waited about 30 mins and truck started right up, and I drove home. Then again it would not start after I got home...So basically if it sits for 30 mins it will start up fine and run perfect...Please any advice would be great! Im planning on fixing it myself and dont want to spin my wheels chasing problems...I build my own race cars and race car motors, derby cars and badass derby motors, but obvioulsy i know diesels are a totally different beast...And this will be the first time ive had to wrench on a diesel other than basic upkeep...Thanks for any input!

Icp sensor is not located in the rear of the motor thats the ipr
