HG again in my 6.0, traded her in for a 2014 Ram 6.7
Well Im going to miss the raw tuned horse power and straight piped sound of my 6.0. I wont be smoking out any more rice burners. My wife wouldn't trust our 6.0 for towing our 5er after it left us on the side of the road a few times and I kept putting in more $ for repairs that never ended. I had spent 5K keeping it running and the HGs were on the way out again and it needed 2 injectors. It was a fun truck for a toy but not a reliable work horse. I wish I had kept my 7.3 it just was to rusty. There was no way I can justify going with the new 6.7 Ford its just to early and I have heard some local horror stories one of the guys at work dropped a valve and one of the loggers had a fuel pump fail and they refused warranty due to poor fuel. I was torn on a new duramax or the Ram 6.7. The Gms just seem to wimpy and rust bad in the salt belt. Interior is old too. I really liked the look of the Ram and the cummins is a no brainer. After a drive in a 14 2500 I new what I had to do. Traded my baby for a RAM. Lost my butt, no one will give more than .50 cents on a dollar for one now. But I have to say I love the 2014 ram and the Cummins is all I expected and more.
