I have a 1996 F150 5 Speed 5.0l and I need to pick up a first gen (non intercooled) Dodge Cummins 5 speed 4x4. Now the truck doesn't come with the bed or a cab. I was wondering if I could tow it back with this truck. It is an hour drive but we would take it very slow coming back. I'm gonna buy this for a swap into this F150! So it will most likely be the last drive before the swap.

So will it tow fine with a first gen Dodge Cummins motor, getrag trans, dana 60, dana 70? Thanks a bunch! I'm excited for the swap!

 

Should be ok but take it slow.just a thaught why not put your ford body on the dodge frame then you would have the best of both worlds
