so today i went out to see my buddies new truck. then we cruised for a bit, and obviously got to see what truck was faster. I have a 06 f250 crew cab with a high back cap with 48k, i have a 4" trubo back straight pipe. he has a 04 f250 crew cab with only a tool box he has 78k. he also has a 6" lift w/ 35's also stock expect the same turbo back and new injectors. Well his truck pulls nasty. and mine decent i suppose and he won everytime. kinda disappointed tho. why was he faster? does a 04 have a better turbo? or has a advantage over a 06? or is there something wrong with my truck?

Did he up the size of the injectors when he got new ones? Do you have dirty filters, fuel and air?

 

the driver, would be my guess.

not to be an ***, but unless he did the above, and you have issues with the above, it's on the driver.

 

04's do run better due to the turbo and programming, he could also have a tune installed

 

came to a conclusion that he has a custom tune on his truck. because i did my fuel filters w/ the blue spring kit and a sct 65hp tune and he still walk me but not as bad.
