Default Finding a blown up truck?

For starters, I'd like to say hello. Been creeping around this site, and you guys offer some really great info!!! My question is... Does anyone have any ideas on finding salvaged trucks, nothing wrecked to bad, but a blown up 6.0 or pretty much anything along those line. Looking to do a cummins swap in the near future, and would love to find a solid truck for cheap. Any ideas would be awesome guys.

ebay craigslist the local paper even in someones yard. lota guys rebuild them so it might be difficult to find one but they are out there. just make sure they dont have a salvaged title if you do find one be careful there could be alot of unseen problems

A hit one is no good. But a theft recovery that was just out for a joy ride is a different story. I'm looking at a 07 F350 harley davidson with a 100K on it that was out on a joy ride and the motor blew up. The body and the rest of the truck is bloody mint!! The guy is asking 7500 for it but i'm going to knock him down. Pretty sure i'll get it for 5g cash.

thats a steal! i almost bought a 05 king ranch that hit a pole dead center motor was gone tranny was good and the leather seats were mint he was asking 3 for it. a guy bought it out from under me...
