Default running rough (in my opinion)...

just did inject cups, o-rings, and glow plugs... coolant in fuel is gone, along with white smoke on start up, but still running a bit rough. it feels off at idle. i wouldnt quite say a miss but just rough and though all rpm range seems to run rough. sounds like bad fuel cackle maybe. It still seems to have plently of power and blows smoke like the dickens. any suggestions? i was leaning towards injectors. i have had this truck about 10k miles. found out when i did cups/rings it has 2 reman injectors already.

also, after i did cups/rings, when i hit high rpm quick, sounds like my heater whining? never heard this before. It isn't very loud and only does it for a second but just wondering if anyone else has ever had this issue... thanks!

After I replaced my glow plugs this winter my truck sounded rough to me, but not other people. I found out that we had somehow knocked off the wire connection to one of my injectors. I had a check engine light with this too.

no check engine light, only codes from KOEO is for the chip and one for turbo charger something but i doubt that is it. i think that is a boost sensor. i have checked; pulled all injector connections out and then plugged back in just to be sure. it doesn't feel like it isnt firing on all 8 and it still has its power but it is just louder and rough! i dont know how else to describe it. i am going to run by my diesel shop and let them run a buzz and contribution test on it tomorrow.
