just wondering how i can get rid of the check engine light it comes on when i put my foot in it i know it comes on when it senses its not burning efficiently its just annoying every time i put my foot in it , it comes on . anyway to reset this or set it for a higher setting im new to messing with the wiring/computer on a truck

 

Remove the bulb Scan your codes on a regular basis,light shouldn't be a problem, IMO.

 

If u got a tuner prob an overboost code, get a mechanical limiter inline with the map sensor just above heater box under the hood

 

i have one of those installed still pulls it up and i might try to pull the bulb didnt know if there was a trick to get around it thanks

 

what codes are coming up when the light illuminates.

 

Just get a cheapo scanner from autozone or somewhere and erase the codes whenever it comes on.

 

artic, when u say youve done that what do you have inline that dont let the map see over that 32psi (may be 30 iirc...)?

 

Your setting a P1211 ICP code more then likely. Its not your boost fooler that is the issue. It is the ICP boost that the Edge Juice with the programer causes. Turn down the Juice level and it should go away.

The cheap scanners from autozone will not pull the PCM codes on our trucks.

I would suggest getting a good scanner and watching ICP pressures and duty cycle when getting on it. You could have leaking injector O rings or a HPOP issue.
