Default diesel4

my a/c keeps popping the fuse ane then blows air thru the defrost ports, any ideas?

Don't know about the fuse issue but the air through defrost sounds like you have a vaccum leak. There are little rubber line going from your hubs to a solenoid on the passenger fender and it goes through a box. You can either trace the leak and rebuild the hubs with new gaskets or replace the hubs with warn hubs and cap the vacuum lines.

No problem, also what year truck etc? And that only applys if it's 4x4 I thin the solenoid I mentioned is the vaccum pump or something close to that looks just like a starter solenoid theres a thread in here from when o had same issues.

my truck is a 1999 f250 ,7.3,4x4. i found the soleniod/vaccum pump. the vac, lines to the hubs was a little looseso ill replace somes lines and go from there, thanks again for your help. and this web site.

Yup,you could try plugging them with a bolt just to see if that fixes your problem

when i did replcae the fuse the ac started working right, i still will try your suggestions,thr fuse thing has me wondering.

found the problem it was a vaccum pump on the passenger side by the hood spring. finally some a/c in this 100 degree heat.
