Front Axle Question
I have a 2000 F350 CC SRW LB 4x4.
Owners manual shows that I could have a Dana 50 or Dana 60. The ID tag on the axle cover shows -top line "3.73 (triangle)YC35 JB", bottom line "(triangle)610893-1"
Anyone have an idea on which front axle it is?

You can look on the door jam I think, and fords website will tell you somewhere I forgot exactly where.

I got the answer from another website member. The ID sticker is on the back of the front axle. The Dana 50 has a 229 number, and, the Dana 60 has a 248 number.
My truck has the 229 number.
Thanks for the info leads, 1999Stroker.

Hope this helps, scroll down to dana axles and it shows clearly every bit of info you could want although I have seen where a bracket hid some info on some fords.
