My passenger side power window rolls up and down very strong but if you leave the window down for more than a few seconds it doesnt even try to roll back up. I have to take the door panel off and play with the wires for it to eventually roll back up. Ive been told its the motor and ive been told its the switch. Any ideas? Its a 2001 supercab

 

sounds like the motor is going or the wiring is lose somewhere take it to a shop and get it fixed its no fun trying to fix it yourself i tried it once it went badly and you really dont want to have your window open in a rain storm..

 

I can put in a motor and regulator no problem I just dont want to spend 100 bucks for a motor and regulator and it be a switch and I have to special order a switch so same situation I dont want to spend 60 on a switch then have to spend 100 more because it is the motor or regulator.

 

Can you borrow a switch from a buddys truck to see if that fixes it
